Q1: How Much?
A:
$299 for a 4-5 minute On Hold production, featuring 5 to 7 radio style ads
custom written exclusively for your business & recorded on CD or SD Card.
(SD Cards sold separately)
Add another $200 or so if you should need a Music On Hold player.
Q2: I have never had music on hold. How can I tell if my phone system is On-Hold ready?
A:
Look for an "MOH" or "BGM" audio input port on your current phone system. If you have
either one, you’re all set. If not, ask us about our analog Music On Hold players, like the model 7500, 6500 or 5500.
Q3: Wait a minute. How can you make a custom Ads & Music On Hold
production for $299, when your competitors get $450 - $600 for the same thing?
A:
You're paying their phone bill.
And the telemarketer's commission, usually 30%.
They have a room full of telemarketers making long distance phone calls to businesses nationwide all day. It's a numbers game, make 60-70 long distance calls asking people to buy, get ONE sale. Now set your price high enough for your straight-commission telemarketer to squeak out a living, then pay your astronomical phone bill, THEN make a profit for yourself. That's why they're higher.
We wait for clients to call us. 877-595-8222.
Q4: Why do I need this thing?
A:
Lots of reasons.
1) Silence on hold is wasted opportunity. Time that could be better spent telling
potential customers about your products and services.
2) Your potential customer is a captive audience for the moment, and an
On Hold sales pitch is equally as effective as any radio commercial.
3) Entertain waiting customers and you’ll reduce hang-ups, too. Silence on
hold can seem forever.
4) When a customer hears nothing they can’t even tell if they’re still
connected. And nothing’s more infuriating than waiting 2 minutes or more
in silence just to hear a click and a dial tone. Been there?
Q5: Why can’t I just play the Radio or one of my CD's for customers on hold? After all, I PAID for them.
A:
Couple of reasons.
1) The price you paid covers personal listening only. When the same CD is used for ANY commercial purpose, it's a copyright violation.
2) You’ve heard how the Recording Industry Association of America is ruthlessly suing school children for sharing music files these days? The RIAA gets real serious if you make duplicate recordings of copyrighted music without paying royalties. It's called piracy, and if it were legal, we could all get into the music sales business for free.
3) Bottom line...Please don’t take a chance with Radio or CD's On Hold. It could
cost you, and that’s no joke.
Did you know?
Every time you drop money into a juke box, the owner of
the establishment has to pay a royalty to BMI or ASCAP for the music you just paid to hear.
Q6: O.K, if I decide to buy, what do I
get?
A:
A 4-5 minute Custom On Hold Production with 5 to 7 ads written exclusively for your business, featuring your products & services, and recorded over a royalty free music bed.
Actual time may vary slightly depending on length of the music bed you choose.
Music demos HERE. Pick two or three. Additional dubs only $19 each.
Q7: Only 4-5 minutes? Seems like that's a little short.
A:
It is.
But a potential customer should never be placed on hold
for more than 90 seconds.
Even so, we'll be happy to produce a custom recording of any length.
